Hello, Hola
I’m Nuria, from Barcelona but living in Amsterdam. My journey as a Professional Organizer began long before The Organization Plan even had a name.
It all started in Panama, in one of my favorite coffee spots, Athanasiou, back in June 2016 — that's where the idea for this small business first came to life. I dove into research, wanting to learn the craft properly, so I enrolled in the Professional Organizer online course at IAP Career College. Around the same time, I started building my website and shaping my own organizing method, and I discovered Marie Kondo's The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. I was hooked — both by her method and by the organizing world itself.
From there, life took me across different countries and experiences that would ultimately shape my vision. Between 2013 and 2020, I moved several times (Suriname, France, Panama, Jamaica and lastly, the Netherlands), learning firsthand what it truly means to start over: to pack, unpack, rebuild routines, and create a sense of home from scratch.
With every move, I found myself decluttering, downsizing, packing, repacking, and adapting to new spaces and lifestyles. Each transition deepened my appreciation for the power of organization and made my passion for this work grow stronger and stronger.
Eventually, I took a step back from this path and entered the corporate world, a chapter that taught me structure, teamwork, and communication from a different perspective.
By 2025, The Organization Plan was born. The name says it all: this was never just about tidying or decluttering, it's about building a real plan, one that fits your life and lasts. I now specialize in helping families and individuals find peace in their environments through personalized strategies that truly fit their lifestyle, creating a plan that adapts to their needs.
I am also a member of NBPO (Dutch Association of Professional Organizers), which means I work following professional standards and continue developing my methods.
